Venice Beach

This was another fun project with a lot of bases that I needed to cover. It started off with a site plan and design direction. As indicated in the name, the intent was to mix a classic Parisian zinc bar with Venice beach style.

Sketchup was used to quickly get line work together from the initial architectural drawings and into Photoshop renderings of the exterior. A good amount of metal work came out in the fixed awning and channel gate. The gating detail was later expanded into the bathroom as well.

After sign off on the renderings, the individual components were modeled in Solidworks to generate drawing packages and get mechanical engineering signoff on the various design details.
